That moment when… …you realize your dreams are coming true, even if only in small doses. Here I am with my media pass for an event this past week at Red Rocks Amphitheater in Colorado. I was covering “Film on the Rocks”, a summer Colorado tradition in a gorgeous outdoor setting for my 303 Magazine internship. My mom joked about my excitement in being considered “press” and having access to backstage and VIP areas. She told me to keep my pass as a memento so that I can look back on this day a few years from now and see how far I have come- from local Colorado publications to something much bigger, I hope! A novel? A column? An editing position, perhaps? But for now, I am perfectly content with the learning process and baby steps you often have to make in order to reach your dreams.
