My name is Avery and I am currently a college student pursuing a career in journalism or PR, splitting my time between home in Colorado and school beach-side in sunny California. I started this blog to give myself a creative outlet to share the little bits and pieces of all the blessings pouring into my life, along with thoughts and words of wisdom discovered throughout the day. My posts followed me in 2011 as I embarked on one of the most riveting, exciting, frightening adventures of my life- a semester abroad, studying in Ireland and traveling Europe. Now, they continue as I make my way down the path they call life.

My passions in life would have to be reading and writing, followed closely by photography. I am in love with words and the way they fill up a blank page, infusing what was once nothing with life and breath and the magical way cameras capture unforgettable moments in our life, both big and small. When I am not scribbling and snapping away, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, playing with my dogs, exercising, and enjoying the great outdoors. Not a day in my life goes by without a good dose of country music.
